This 18th century painting was made by the male painter Hubert Robert. The original version was painted with the size 96 x 76 7/16 in (243,8 x 194,2 cm) framed: 107 3/4 x 86 x 5 in (273,7 x 218,4 x 12,7 cm). Oil on canvas was used by the artist as the technique for the painting. Today, this artwork is in the the Saint Louis Art Museum's digital art collection. Further, the alignment of the digital reproduction is portrait with an image ratio of 1 : 1.2, meaning that the length is 20% shorter than the width. Hubert Robert was a curator, painter, whose style can mainly be attributed to Rococo. The French painter was born in the year 1733 in Paris, Ile-de-France, France and died at the age of 75 in 1808.
