The more than 100 year-old painting Sunflowers I was created by Egon Schiele. The 100 years old masterpiece measures the size of 90 x 80,3 cm - frame dimensions: 96 x 86 x 7 cm and was painted with oil on canvas. The artpiece has the following inscription: signed and dated lower left: EGON / SCHIELE / 1911. Today, the artwork is included in the Belvedere's digital collection. With courtesy of: © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 2494 (public domain license). Also, the artpiece has the creditline: purchase from Hermann Trenkwald, Vienna in 1924. On top of that, alignment is in portrait format with a ratio of 1 : 1.2, which means that the length is 20% shorter than the width. The engraver, painter, visual artist, drawer Egon Schiele was an artist, whose art style can mainly be assigned to Expressionism. The European artist lived for 28 years and was born in the year 1890 in Vienna state, Austria and died in the year 1918 in Vienna, Vienna state, Austria.
