In this scene, cheap, outmoded prints—colored lithographs by the flower painter Pierre-Joseph Redouté—are coupled with a fashionable Tang dynasty horse and Japanese fabrics pinned on the bulletin board to typify an old-fashioned collector, obsessively accumulating an array of artworks. The depiction of individuals, interrupted at tasks amid settings that reveal clues about their character, was developed by Degas in numerous figure paintings of the 1860s and early 1870s.

The modern art artpiece called The Collector of Prints was made by the French artist Edgar Degas. The painting measures the size of 20 7/8 x 15 3/4 in (53 x 40 cm) and was painted with the medium oil on canvas. Select the item material you would like to have

We offer a range of different sizes and materials for every product. Select your preferred size and material among the following preferences:

  • Acrylic glass print: An print on acrylic glass, often described as a UV print on plexiglass, will convert the original artwork into wall décor and makes a great alternative option to canvas and dibond art prints. The acrylic glass protects your custom art replica against light and heat for between 40-60 years.
  • Canvas print: The canvas direct print is a printed canvas mounted on a wooden frame. How can I hang a canvas print on my wall? The great advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, meaning that it is easy and straightforward to hang up the Canvas print without extra wall-mounts. Canvas prints are suited for all kinds of walls.
  • Aluminium dibond print (metal): An Aluminium Dibond print is a print material with a true depth effect, which makes a contemporary impression with a surface structure, which is non-reflective. For the Direct Aluminium Dibond option, we print the favorite artwork onto the surface of the white-primed aluminum material. The white & bright sections of the original artwork shimmer with a silk gloss, however without glow. The direct UV print on Aluminum Dibond is one of the most demanded entry-level products and is an extremely stylish way to showcase art prints, because it puts all of the viewer’s attention on the artwork.
  • Poster (canvas material): The Artprinta poster print is a UV printed sheet of canvas with a nice finish on the surface, that resembles the original work of art. It is optimally used for putting the art replica with a custom-made frame. Please note, that depending on the absolute size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin between 2-6 cm around the print motif, which facilitates the framing.
