Order the material of your choice
We offer a range of different materials and sizes for every product. The following sizes and materials are the options we offer you for individualization:
- Glossy acrylic glass print: The print on acrylic glass, often referred to as a print on plexiglass, makes the artwork into stunning décor. The great upside of an acrylic glass art print is that sharp contrasts plus image details become visible thanks to the precise tonal gradation. The acrylic glass protects your custom art print against light and heat for many years.
- Metal (aluminium dibond print): Aluminium Dibond prints are metal prints with an outstanding effect of depth. The colors are vivid and luminous, details are clear and crisp. This print on Aluminum Dibond is one of the most demanded entry-level products and is an extremely stylish way to display art prints, as it draws focus on the replica of the artwork.
- Canvas: A printed canvas mounted on a wooden frame. The great advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, which means that it is easy to hang your Canvas print without the support of any wall-mounts. Therefore, a canvas print is suitable for any kind of wall.
- Printed poster (canvas material): A poster is a UV printed sheet of canvas paper with a nice surface finish. The print poster is excellently suited for placing your art copy with the help of a personal frame. Please keep in mind, that depending on the size of the poster print we add a white margin of approximately 2-6cm round about the print motif to facilitate the framing with your custom frame.
Important information: We try whatever we can to depict the products as exact as possible and to display them visually on the product detail pages. Please bear in mind that the colors of the print materials and the print result might vary marginally from the image on the monitor. Depending on the screen settings and the quality of the surface, not all colors are printed as exactly as the digital version shown here. Since our art reproductions are processed and printed manually, there might as well be slight deviations in the motif's exact position and the size.

Johann Joachim Winckelmann was the most influential early archaeologist and a pioneer in the field of art history. His History of Ancient Art, published in 1764, became a classic text for travelers and cognoscenti of art. He was also a close friend and admirer of Mengs. Both were leading exponents of the nascent Neoclassical movement in Rome. In this idealized posthumous portrait Winckelmann is shown holding a Greek edition of Homer's Iliad, alluding to his erudition and ties to Classical poetry.
