It belongs to the Art Institute Chicago's digital collection, which is one of the world’s great art museums, housing a collection that spans centuries and the globe. Anthony van Dyck was a translator, author, dramaturge, painter, theater director, etcher, whose style was primarily Baroque. The Dutch painter lived for a total of 42 years - born in the year 1599 in Antwerp, Antwerpen province, Flanders, Belgium and passed away in the year 1641.
