Portrait bust of three quarters of the painter Félix Ziem (1821-1911) at the age of 29 years
Exhibited at the Salon of 1850, this painting is one of several portraits of Felix Ziem made by Gustave Ricard. Both painters have made friends 1840. Ziem kept this portrait in his home in Montmartre to the donation he made to the Petit Palais in 1905.
