This painting depicts a scene meals seat of the painter Van Dyck (1599-1641), in a richly decorated interior of valuable art objects. While the door that leads to the dining room, a maid brings a dish, a group of four musicians in the foreground is about to play. The Flemish master is at a table with friends at the back of the room to the left. By opening the door, there are a bridge and the back of a canvas on the floor, suggesting that we are in the artist's studio.
