This piece of art was painted by Paul Gauguin. The beyond 120 year-old original version had the following size: 202 × 356 mm (image); 204 × 356 mm (sheet). Wood-block print, printed twice in brown and black inks, over a yellow, silver-gray and brownish-orange ink tone block, and transferred yellow, green, red, and orange oil-based media, some containing beeswax and conifer resin (probably pine resin), on ivory japanese paper, laid down on cream wove card was used by the artist as the medium of the artwork. Monogrammed lower left, in image: "P G O" was the painting's inscription. Nowadays, this work of art can be viewed in in the Art Institute Chicago's art collection in Chicago, Illinois, United States of America. Paul Gauguin was a male painter, sculptor, graphic artist, whose art style can primarily be attributed to Impressionism. The Impressionist artist was born in 1848 in Paris, Ile-de-France, France and deceased at the age of 55 in 1903 in Atuona, French Polynesia.
