Amalie Zuckerkandl was born in 1869 when Miriam Schlesinger Amalie and 1942 was probably murdered in the concentration camp Belzec. Her husband, the physician Dr. Otto Zuckerkandl was related by the important writer and art critic Bertha Sugarkandle who stood with Klimt in close contact. The portrait was indeed commissioned in 1913, but the outbreak of World War execution when Amalie Zuckerkandl her husband to Lviv delayed followed. This over 100 years old masterpiece was painted by the male Austrian artist Gustav Klimt in 1918. The 100 years old artwork had the following size: 128 x 128 cm - frame: 139 x 139 x 6,5 cm - 7,5 kg glazed. Oil on canvas (unfinished) was used by the painter as the technique for the work of art. Creditline of the artwork: dedication Vita artists Vienna in 1988. In addition to that, the alignment is square and has an aspect ratio of 1 : 1, which means that the length is equal to the width. The painter Gustav Klimt was an artist, whose artistic style can primarily be attributed to Art Nouveau. The Austrian painter lived for a total of 56 years and was born in 1862 in Vienna state, Austria and died in the year 1918.
