The 18th century artpiece Woman Reading in front of a Fireplace was painted by the French artist Pierre Parrocel in 1735. The 280 years old version of the piece of art was made with the size - Height: 36,5 cm (14,3 ″); Width: 47 cm (18,5 ″) Framed: Height: 51 cm (20 ″); Width: 61 cm (24 ″); Depth: 7 cm (2,7 ″). Oil on canvas was used by the French artist as the technique for the painting. The artpiece can be viewed in in the Nationalmuseum Stockholm's collection, which is Sweden's museum of art and design, a Swedish government authority with a mandatet o preserve cultural heritage and promote art, interest in art and knowledge of art.
