The Medrano circus, formerly at the corner of Rochechouard Boulevard and Rue des Martyrs 9th arrondissement.

Medrano Circus was founded in 1873 under the name Circus Fernando, named after its creator. It was temporarily built in canvas like a traveling circus to No. 70 and 72 of the Rue des Martyrs. Then he became a stone property at No. 63 Boulevard Rochechouart. His name Medrano circus named former clown Boom-Boom who ran the circus until his death in 1912.
