Selectable materials
For every art print we offer a range of different sizes and materials. Hence, we allow you to choose among the following options:
- Aluminium dibond print (metal): This is a metal print manufactured on aluminium dibond with a true depth - for a modern impression and a non-reflective surface. The colors of the print are luminous, the details appear crisp and clear, and the print has a a matte appearance that you can literally feel.
- Canvas print: The printed canvas, not to be mistaken with a painting on a canvas, is a digital image printed on an industrial printer. The great advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, which implies that it is easy and straightforward to hang the Canvas print without the use of any wall-mounts. That is why, canvas prints are suited for all types of walls.
- Printed poster (canvas material): A poster is a printed flat cotton canvas with a slight texture on the surface, which reminds the original version of the artwork. The poster print is used for placing your art copy using a custom-made frame. Please keep in mind, that depending on the size of the poster we add a white margin 2-6 cm round about the artwork, which facilitates the framing with a custom frame.
- Acrylic glass print: A glossy print on acrylic glass, which is often labelled as a plexiglass print, will turn your favorite original into beautiful wall decoration. The artwork is printed with the help of modern UV direct printing machines. It makes sharp and vivid color shades.

The Barbizon artists’ colony was located on the edge of the forest of Fontainebleau, southeast of Paris. Barbizon painters exerted a major influence on the Hague School. For this reason, Weissenbruch made a pilgrimage there for his only trip abroad, which he made at the ripe age of 76! He portrayed the characteristic birch forest, with a painter leaning against a boulder while sketching.
