This 20th century masterpiece was created by Leo Gestel. Nowadays, this piece of art is included in the Rijksmuseum's collection. The painter, graphic artist Leo Gestel was a European artist from the Netherlands, whose artistic style can mainly be classified as Expressionism. The artist lived for a total of 60 years - born in 1881 in Woerden, South Holland, Netherlands and passed away in the year 1941 in Hilversum, North Holland, Netherlands.
