What does the original artwork description of the Nationalmuseum Stockholm write about the work of art created by Jean-Maxime Claude? (© Copyright - by Nationalmuseum Stockholm - Nationalmuseum Stockholm)

English: Jean-Maxime Claude had a long career behind him when he painted these three riders on the beach in 1882. With their backs turned to us, they regard the sunset over the sea in a tranquil, quiet moment. The painting was bought by the Swedish collector Oskar Filip Heilborn. His collection, which was donated to the Nationalmuseum in 1902, is representative of the Swedish fondness for French art at the time. It includes older realist works and more contemporary paintings, but not one single Impressionist.

Product materials you can pick from

We offer a range of various sizes and materials for every product. You can choose among the following product customization options:

  • Poster (canvas material): The Artprinta poster print is a UV printed flat cotton canvas paper with a slightly rough surface structure. The print poster is ideally suited for putting the art replica using a special frame. Please keep in mind, that depending on the size of the poster print we add a white margin between 2-6cm round about the painting, which facilitates the framing with a custom frame.
  • Aluminium dibond: Aluminium Dibond prints are prints on metal with an impressive effect of depth. The white and bright parts of the artpiece shimmer with a silk gloss but without the glow.
  • Canvas: The canvas direct print is a printed cotton canvas mounted on a wood stretcher. It generates a unique impression of three dimensionality. Hanging a canvas print: A canvas print has the advantage of being low in weight. This means, it is quite simple to hang the Canvas print without the help of additional wall-mounts. Hence, canvas prints are suited for any kind of wall.
  • Print on glossy acrylic glass (with real glass coating on top): A glossy print on acrylic glass, which is often denoted as a UV print on plexiglass, will transform the original artwork into magnificient home décor. In addition, it forms a distinct alternative option to aluminium or canvas fine art prints. Your own copy of the work of art is manufactured thanks to state-of-the-art UV printing technology. Our plexiglass with real glass coating protects your custom art print against light and heat for many years.
