Pick your material

The product dropdown menu ofers you the opportunity to select a material and a size of your choice. The following sizes and materials are the options we offer you for individualization:

  • Aluminium print (aluminium dibond): This is a metal print made on aluminium dibond material with a true depth effect, which makes a modern impression throuch a non-reflective surface structure. For our Direct Print On Aluminum Dibond, we print the chosen work of art on the surface of the aluminum. The direct print on aluminium is one of the most demanded entry-level products and is an extremely modern way to display art, because it puts 100% of the viewer’s focus on the artwork.
  • The poster print (canvas material): The poster print is a UV printed cotton canvas with a slight surface texture. The print poster is particularly appropriate for framing the art replica using a special frame. Please keep in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the poster we add a white margin 2-6 cm round about the print motif, which facilitates the framing.
  • Acrylic glass print (with real glass coating): A glossy print on acrylic glass, which is often described as a print on plexiglass, transforms your favorite artwork into lovely wall decoration. In addition to that, the acrylic print offers a great alternative to canvas and aluminidum dibond prints. With an acrylic glass fine art print contrasts and small artwork details become more recognizeable because of the very fine tonal gradation.
  • Canvas: A printed canvas material applied on a wooden stretcher frame. In addition to that, a canvas print produces a cosy, positive look. Your canvas of this masterpiece will allow you to transform your very own fine art print into a large size collection piece as you know from galleries. How do I hang a canvas print on the wall? The advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, which implies that it is easy and straightforward to hang up your Canvas print without additional wall-mounts. That is why, canvas prints are suitable for all kinds of walls.

Legal note: We try all that we can in order to depict our art products as precisely as possible and to exhibit them visually on the various product detail pages. Please bear in mind that the colors of the printing material, as well as the imprint may diverge slightly from the representation on your device's screen. Depending on the settings of your screen and the nature of the surface, color pigments can unfortunately not be printed as realisitcally as the digital version on this website. Bearing in mind that all are printed and processed by hand, there may as well be minor discrepancies in the exact position and the size of the motif.

What does the Rijksmuseum state about the 19th century work of art created by Jacob Maris? (© - Rijksmuseum - Rijksmuseum)

After living in Paris for six years, around 1871 Jacob Maris returned to his native The Hague, moving into a studio on the Noordwestbuitensingel. He probably painted The Truncated Windmill from his window, which would explain its unusual cropping. The mill and the bridge recur frequently in Maris’s work, with or without houses, in ever-changing compositions.
