Marie-Madeleine-Claudine Perrin said Mrs. Thénard "the Great" (1757-1849), member of the Comédie-French. Portrait from the waist up. Mrs. Thénard is sitting in a chair and holding a letter of his right hand on which is an inscription: "Letters / of my children." His forearms are held on his chest. She has a dress of 1825: hat veil held by a big bow on the neck, scarf fur jacket and dark.
