This over 190 year-old artpiece was created by the painter Artus Despagne in 1823. The original measures the size: Height: 58,3 cm, Width: 73,7 cm, Thickness: 5 cm. Date and signature - Signed and dated lower center: "Ash Wednesday / A.Despagne 1823." is the painting's original inscription. Nowadays, the piece of art belongs to the Musée Carnavalet Paris's art collection. The artwork is being custom-made thanks to the help of state-of-the-art UV direct print technology. The effect of this are vibrant and stunning colors. The major upside of a plexiglass print is that contrasts and also small image details will be more exposed because of the very fine tonal gradation.
• The canvas print: The printed canvas, not to be confused with a real painting on a canvas, is a digital replica printed from a UV direct printer.
