In the year 1535 the Italian painter Moretto da Brescia created the painting "St. John the Baptist in the Wilderness". The over 480 year-old original had the exact size: 22 1/2 × 19 1/2 in (57,15 × 49,53 cm). Oil on panel was applied by the Italian painter as the medium of the painting.
