The over 120 year old artwork was created by the Dutch painter Leo Gestel in 1891. Nowadays, this piece of art belongs to the collection of Rijksmuseum, which is the largest museum for Dutch art and history from the Middle Ages to the present day. Leo Gestel was a male painter, graphic artist, whose style was primarily Expressionism. The Expressionist artist was born in the year 1881 in Woerden, South Holland, Netherlands and died at the age of 60 in the year 1941 in Hilversum, North Holland, Netherlands.
