The 19th century artpiece called Water Carriers on the Nile was created by the male painter John Singer Sargent. The artwork has the size: 54,3 × 65,4 cm (21 3/8 × 25 3/4 in) and was crafted with the techinque oil on canvas. Stamped on verso: "JSS" was the artwork's inscription. Nowadays, this artpiece can be viewed in in the digital art collection of Art Institute Chicago. The modern art artwork, which is part of the public domain is provided with courtesy of Art Institute Chicago. Additionally, the work of art has the following creditline: Charles H. and Mary F. S. Worcester Collection. Furthermore, alignment of the digital reproduction is in landscape format with a ratio of 1.2 : 1, which implies that the length is 20% longer than the width. The painter John Singer Sargent was a North American artist from United States, whose artistic style can primarily be attributed to Impressionism. The North American painter was born in 1856 in Florence, Firenze province, Tuscany, Italy and passed away at the age of 69 in the year 1925.
