In 1917 the Austrian painter Egon Schiele painted this expressionist painting named "The hug". The over 100 years old original was painted with the size: 100 x 170 cm - frame: 109 x 179 x 8 cm vitrified. Oil on canvas was used by the artist as the technique for the painting. Also, the artpiece has the following creditline: purchase from Robert Rieger, New York in 1950.
