About the painting by David Johnson

The 19th century masterpiece was made by the American painter David Johnson in 1867. The painting had the following size: 20 × 14 in (50,8 × 35,6 cm) framed: 33 × 27 in (83,8 × 68,6 cm). Oil on canvas was used by the American artist as the medium of the artpiece. The artwork is in the the Saint Louis Art Museum's art collection. The painter David Johnson was an artist, whose artistic style can primarily be classified as Romanticism. The painter lived for 81 years and was born in 1827 in New York City, New York state, United States and passed away in the year 1908.
