Shepherds with their flocks. Under an old tree a woman gives her child the breast, behind her a shepherd with a bagpipe. When the tree is a dog. To their left, and grazing on the slope of a hill and resting cows, sheep, goats, a donkey and a horse.

In 1651 Unknown painted the work of art called "Herdsmen with their cattle". Today, the artpiece can be viewed in in the Rijksmuseum's art collection, which is the largest museum for Dutch art and history from the Middle Ages to the present day.
