The over 80 years old original creation measures the size of 16 3/8 x 19 1/2 in (41,6 x 49,5 cm) framed: 25 1/8 x 28 1/16 x 2 3/8 in (63,8 x 71,3 x 6 cm). Oil on canvas mounted on masonite was applied by the Swiss artist as the medium of the work of art. Today, the piece of art is included in the Saint Louis Art Museum's digital collection, which is a world renowned fine arts museum known for its outstanding and comprehensive collection spanning 5000 years of cultures and genres. The Swiss painter lived for a total of 61 years, born in the year 1879 in Munchenbuchsee, Bern canton, Switzerland and passed away in the year 1940.
