In 1916 the American painter Patrick Henry Bruce created the cubist artpiece Composition. The beyond 100 years old original was made with the size: 38 3/8 x 51 1/4 in (97,4 x 130,2 cm) framed: 39 1/2 x 52 1/2 x 1 11/16 in (100,33 x 133,35 x 4,29 cm). Oil on canvas was used by the artist as the technique for the artpiece. Today, the artwork is included in the Yale University Art Gallery's art collection in New Haven, Connecticut, United States of America. Furthermore, alignment is in landscape format with an aspect ratio of 4 : 3, which implies that the length is 33% longer than the width. Patrick Henry Bruce was a painter, whose art style was mainly Cubism. The artist was born in 1881 in Campbell, Mahoning county, Ohio, United States and passed away at the age of 55 in the year 1936.
