Please keep in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the poster print we add a white margin between 2-6cm round about the artwork to facilitate the framing.

Important legal note: We try our utmost in order to depict our products as accurate as we can and to display them visually. Depending on the screen settings and the quality of the surface, not all color pigments can be printed one hundret percent realistically. Description

The piece of art Allegory of music and painting was made by the artist Ludwig Mayer. The over 140 year-old original version was painted with the following size: 195 x 257 cm. Oil on canvas was applied by the European painter as the technique for the work of art. The artwork's inscription is the following: "signed and dated lower center: Ludwig Mayer 1873". What is more, this work of art belongs to the digital art collection of Belvedere located in Vienna, Austria. This modern art public domain artpiece is being included with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 3562. Creditline of the artwork: transfer from the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna. - 1939 inventory in 1921. On top of that, alignment is landscape and has a ratio of 4 : 3, which implies that the length is 33% longer than the width. The painter Ludwig Mayer was an artist from Austria, whose style was mainly Historicism. The Historicist painter was born in 1834 in Kaniow / Kaniv, Galicia and deceased at the age of 83 in 1917.
