Specifications of the article

The Doubting Thomas is an artpiece made by the male Dutch painter Leendert van der Cooghen. The more than 360 year-old original had the following size: height: 111 cm width: 155 cm | height: 43,7 in width: 61 in and was painted on the medium oil on canvas. The artwork's inscription is: signed and dated: LVCooghen 1654. Today, the piece of art can be viewed in in the art collection of Mauritshuis. We are delighted to reference that this masterpiece, which is in the public domain is being included with courtesy of Mauritshuis, The Hague. In addition to that, the artpiece has the following creditline: G.A. Burn, London; purchased, 1876; on long-term loan to the Catharijneconvent Museum, Utrecht, since 2012. Furthermore, alignment is in landscape format and has a side ratio of 1.4 : 1, which implies that the length is 40% longer than the width.
