In 1860 Jean Baptiste Camille Corot made this work of art. The original version was made with the size: 82,6 × 100,3 cm (32 1/2 × 39 1/2 in). Oil on canvas was applied by the European painter as the technique for the piece of art. The original artpiece has the following inscription: inscribed lower left: Corot. Nowadays, the artpiece belongs to the art collection of Art Institute Chicago located in Chicago, Illinois, United States of America. With courtesy of: Art Institute Chicago (public domain license). Creditline of the artwork: Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Kimball Collection. What is more, the alignment is landscape with a side ratio of 1.2 : 1, meaning that the length is 20% longer than the width.
