Available product materials

For every art print we offer different materials and sizes. You can choose your your favorite size and material among the following options:

  • The poster print (canvas material): The poster print is a printed sheet of canvas with a slight structure on the surface. It is suited for framing the art copy with a custom frame. Please keep in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin 2-6cm around the painting in order to facilitate the framing with your custom frame.
  • Aluminium print (aluminium dibond): An Aluminium Dibond print is a material with an outstanding depth, creating a contemporary look throuch a surface , which is not reflective. The bright & white sections of the artpiece shimmer with a silk gloss, however without any glow. The UV print on Aluminum Dibond is the most popular entry-level product and is an extremely modern way to display fine art reproductions, because it draws attention on the artwork.
  • Print on glossy acrylic glass (with real glass coating): An print on acrylic glass, which is often denoted as a plexiglass print, will convert the artwork into great décor. The work of art is made with the help of modern UV direct printing technology. This creates impressive and vivid print colors. The great benefit of a plexiglass fine art copy is that contrasts and minor artwork details will be more recognizeable with the help of the granular tonal gradation.
  • Canvas: The canvas print is a printed cotton canvas mounted on a wood frame. The advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, which means that it is easy and straightforward to hang up the Canvas print without the help of any wall-mounts. Canvas prints are suited for any kind of wall.

Legal disclaimer: We try everything in order to describe the products as precisely as possible and to exhibit them visually on the various product detail pages. However, the tone of the printing material, as well as the imprint might vary slightly from the image on the device's monitor. Depending on the settings of your screen and the quality of the surface, not all colors will be printed as realisitcally as the digital version. Bearing in mind that all our art prints are processed and printed by hand, there may also be minor deviations in the motif's size and exact position.

One of only three works William Michael Harnett painted in the year before his death, Just Dessert offers the viewer a display of foodstuffs sumptuously arranged on a marble surface. The traditional tabletop composition is one that Harnett often employed in his still lifes. In Just Dessert, the exotic clashes with the quotidian—Maraschino liqueur, half a coconut, and Smyrna figs rest alongside a copperpitcher, pewter tankard, and ginger jar. Small crumbs of cork are visible on the grapes and fig seeds are smashed on the side of the wooden box, indicating that the dessert has been eaten, as well as highlighting Harnett’s skillful renderings in trompe l’oeil (fool-the-eye) painting.
