• Poster print (canvas material): Our poster print is a UV printed canvas paper with a slightly roughened texture on the surface, that resembles the original version of the masterpiece. Please note, that depending on the absolute size of the poster we add a white margin of approximately 2-6cm around the work of art, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.

Important information: We try all that we can to depict our products as accurate as possible and to showcase them visually on the different product detail pages. At the same time, the colors of the printing material and the print result can diverge to a certain extent from the presentation on the device's screen. The article

The overtook refugees is a piece of art by Eduard Kurzbauer in 1870. The painting was made with the size: 51 x 74 cm - frame dimensions: 62 x 84 x 5 cm. Oil on paper on canvas was applied by the painter as the technique for the masterpiece. What is more, the piece of art is in the the art collection of Belvedere, which is located in Vienna, Austria. We are delighted to reference that this public domain artpiece is being supplied with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 5729. The creditline of the artpiece is: purchase from Julie Lückenhaus, Wuppertal-Barmen in 1965. What is more, the alignment of the digital reproduction is in landscape format with a side ratio of 1.4 : 1, which implies that the length is 40% longer than the width. The painter Eduard Kurzbauer was an artist, whose style can mainly be attributed to Realism. The Realist painter was born in 1840 in Vienna, Vienna state, Austria and died at the age of 39 in the year 1879 in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.
