Specifications of the art product

The 18th century painting was made by the male French painter Hubert Robert in 1788. The original creation was made with the absolute size of 255 × 222,9 cm (100 7/8 × 87 3/4 in). Oil on canvas was used by the artist as the technique for the piece of art. "H. ROBERT / IN ÆDIBUS / MEREVILLÆ / PRO / D. DE LABORDE / PINXIT / A.D. 1788. (lower center, on statue pedestal)" was the masterpiece's inscription. Today, the artpiece can be viewed in in the digital collection of Art Institute Chicago, which is one of the world’s great art museums, housing a collection that spans centuries and the globe. Moreover, alignment is portrait with an image ratio of 1 : 1.2, meaning that the length is 20% shorter than the width. The curator, painter Hubert Robert was a European artist, whose style can be attributed primarily to Rococo. The European painter lived for 75 years and was born in 1733 in Paris, Ile-de-France, France and deceased in the year 1808 in Paris, Ile-de-France, France.
