The original measures the size of 31 1/2 x 25 1/4 in (80 x 64,1 cm), with later additions of 1 1/4 in (3,2 cm) at bottom, 1 in (2,5 cm) at left, and 1/2 in (1,3 cm) at right. Oil on canvas was applied by the French painter as the medium of the masterpiece.
