Maria von Freyberg was in the court of Albert V, Duke of Bavaria. However, as Lutherans, the family eventually fell from favor as Catholic political interests consolidated power in Bavaria. Mielich’s work for the Munich court included illustrating an inventory of the duchess’s jewelry, seen in the meticulous attention here to the sitter’s brooches, necklaces, and rings. The diamond and ruby ring on her left index finger would have slid apart to reveal a private message or image underneath the gems.

Canvas Prints have the advantage of being relatively low in weight, meaning that it is quite simple to hang your Canvas print without any wall-mounts. Because of thatcanvas prints are suited for any kind of wall.
  • Poster (canvas material): The poster print is a UV printed flat cotton canvas paper with a granular finish on the surface. A poster print is optimally suited for putting the art copy with a personal frame. Please note, that depending on the size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of approximately 2-6 cm round about the painting, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.
  • Printed acrylic glass: A glossy print on acrylic glass, which is sometimes denoted as a print on plexiglass, will convert an original work of art into home décor. The major advantage of an acrylic glass print is that contrasts as well as artwork details become visible thanks to the granular tonal gradation.
  • Metal print (aluminium dibond): An Aluminium Dibond print is a material with an outstanding depth. A direct Direct Print on Aluminum Dibond is your ideal introduction to art replicas with aluminum.
