The more than 120 year-old artwork Sketch Sheet studies of horses was made by the male artist Leo Gestel. Furthermore, this artwork is in the the Rijksmuseum's collection, which is the largest museum for Dutch art and history from the Middle Ages to the present day. The painter, graphic artist Leo Gestel was an artist, whose art style can be classified as Expressionism. The European artist lived for 60 years and was born in the year 1881 in Woerden, South Holland, Netherlands and passed away in 1941 in Hilversum, North Holland, Netherlands.
