The modern art piece of art L’univers est créé (The Universe Is Being Created), from the Noa Noa Suite was created by the impressionist master Paul Gauguin. The 120 year old piece of art measures the size: 203 × 350 mm (image/sheet) and was painted with the techinque of wood-block print, printed in black ink with traces of residual brown ink, with selective wiping, over solvent-thinned and transferred and stenciled yellow, orange, red, blue, and green oil-based media, some containing beeswax and conifer resin (probably pine resin), with touches of brush and black ink, on medium-weight, smooth, pink wove paper (faded to tan). The original artpiece has the following inscription: monogrammed lower right, in image: "P G O". Moveover, the piece of art is part of the art collection of Art Institute Chicago in Chicago, Illinois, United States of America. With courtesy of - Art Institute Chicago (licensed - public domain). Creditline of the artwork: Clarence Buckingham Collection. Furthermore, alignment is in landscape format with a side ratio of 16 : 9, which implies that the length is 78% longer than the width. Paul Gauguin was a painter, sculptor, graphic artist, whose artistic style was primarily Impressionism. The artist was born in the year 1848 in Paris, Ile-de-France, France and passed away at the age of 55 in the year 1903 in Atuona, French Polynesia.
