English: The barren, windy landscape is from Tjörn. Nordström was born there, but this was painted in Varberg, where the artist moved in May 1893. Here, Nordström, Nils Kreuger and Richard Bergh, developed a “synthetist” style of landscape painting, with billowing lines and a subdued palette. The critics said Nordström’s art was morose and introverted: “In Ovädersmoln the darkening landscape is ominous with its bleak and raving fury,” Edvard Alkman wrote in Dagens Nyheter in 1894.

Available product materials

We offer a range of various materials and sizes for every product. Choose among the following product options now to match your preferences in size and material:

  • Glossy acrylic glass print (with real glass coating): An acrylic glass print, which is often denoted as a print on plexiglass, will change an original work of art into wonderful décor and forms a distinct alternative option to aluminium and canvas prints. Your favorite artwork is custom-made with modern UV direct printing machines. The acrylic glass protects your chosen art print against light and heat for several decades.
  • Poster print (canvas material): A poster is a printed sheet of canvas paper with a slight finish on the surface. Please bear in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the poster print we add a white margin between 2-6cm round about the print, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.
  • Canvas print: A printed canvas, not to be confused with a real painting on a canvas, is an image printed on an industrial printing machine. Your canvas print of your favorite work of art will give you the opportunity to turn your personal fine art print into a large size collection piece. The advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, meaning that it is easy and straightforward to hang the Canvas print without any wall-mounts. A canvas print is suitable for all types of walls.
  • Aluminium dibond print: Aluminium Dibond prints are metal prints with an impressive depth effect. For your Direct Print On Aluminum Dibond, we print the selected work of art right onto the aluminium composite white-primed surface. The white & bright parts of the artpiece shine with a silk gloss but without any glow. Colors are luminous and vivid in the highest definition, the details of the print appear crisp and clear.

Important information: We try the best we can to describe the art products in as much detail as possible and to illustrate them visually on the various product detail pages. However, the pigments of the printed materials and the printing may vary slightly from the presentation on your device's screen. Depending on the screen settings and the condition of the surface, not all colors can be printed 100% realistically. Given that all the art prints are processed and printed manually, there might as well be slight differences in the exact position and the size of the motif.
