The last defenders of Missolonghi, April 22 1826: episode in the Greek war of independence. The remaining inhabitants of the city are on the blow itself out with barrels of gunpowder. Some men embrace, a priest holds a gun to a barrel of gunpowder, right dog. Top right of the stairs approaching Turkish soldiers.
