The 20th century painting with the title Notre Dame Seen from the Quai de la Tournelle was painted by the artist Jean-François Raffaëlli in 1902. The 110 years old version of the artpiece measures the size: Framed: 85,5 x 101,5 x 9 cm (33 11/16 x 39 15/16 x 3 9/16 in); Unframed: 65 x 81,2 cm (25 9/16 x 31 15/16 in). Oil on fabric was applied by the European painter as the technique for the artpiece. The original artwork was inscribed with the details: signed lower right: jfraffaëlli [in two successive layers of paint, first dark gray and then yellowish gray]. Today, the piece of art can be viewed in in the The Cleveland Museum of Art's art collection, which is one of the leading museums worldwide that builds, preserves, studies, and shares its outstanding collections of art from all periods and parts of the world, generating new scholarship and understanding, while serving as a social and intellectual hub for its community. In addition to that, the alignment is in landscape format with an aspect ratio of 1.2 : 1, meaning that the length is 20% longer than the width. Jean-François Raffaëlli was a painter of French nationality, whose art style can mainly be classified as Realism. The painter lived for 74 years and was born in 1850 in Paris and passed away in the year 1924 in boulevard de Beauséjour.
