The 17th century piece of art was painted by the painter Jan Steen. The 360 year old version of the work of art was painted with the size: height: 57,7 cm width: 46,2 cm | height: 22,7 in width: 18,2 in and was painted with oil on panel. Signed: JSteen. is the artpiece's inscription. It is included in the Mauritshuis's digital art collection, which the Mauritshuis is home to the best artworks of Dutch painting of the seventeenth century. The painter Jan Steen was a European artist from the Netherlands, whose art style can be classified as Baroque. The Dutch painter was born in the year 1626 in Alkmaar, North Holland, Netherlands and passed away at the age of 53 in 1679.
