General description by Belvedere (© - Belvedere - www.belvedere.at)

This presentation is one of Waldmüller's first genre scenes and sets the direction in which his themes will move in the future: the world of the people in the countryside. It is also a first attempt to present his progress in landscape painting. Thus, the deep landscape decided by the blue mountains in the background is presented very realistically. The girl in the foreground points out how strongly religiousness was anchored in the population at that time. [Sabine Grabner 8/2009]

Pick your product material

We offer a range of different sizes and materials for every product. We allow yout to choose among the following variants:

  • The canvas print: A canvas direct print is a printed canvas stretched on a wood frame. A canvas produces the unique impression of three-dimensionality. A canvas print produces a charming and appealing appearance. A canvas print has the advantage of being low in weight, which implies that it is easy to hang up the Canvas print without extra wall-mounts. Therefore, canvas prints are suitable for any type of wall.
  • Aluminium dibond (metal print): Aluminium Dibond prints are prints on metal with an impressive depth effect. The non-reflective surface creates a contemporary look. A direct Direct Print on Aluminum Dibond is your excellent introduction to the sophisticated world of replicas with aluminum. The white & bright sections of the original artpiece shine with a silky gloss but without the glow. The colors of the print are luminous in the highest definition, fine details of the print appear clear and crisp, and you can feel a matte appearance.
  • Poster (canvas material): A poster is a printed sheet of canvas with a nice surface texture, that resembles the original artwork. It is designed for framing the art print using a customized frame. Please bear in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the poster we add a white margin of around 2-6cm round about the artwork, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.
  • Glossy acrylic glass print: A glossy print on acrylic glass, often named a plexiglass print, will convert your favorite original work of art into magnificient décor. The artwork will be custom-made with the help of state-of-the-art UV print machines. This makes vibrant, sharp color hues. With a glossy acrylic glass fine art print contrasts plus granular color details will be more recognizeable because of the very fine tonal gradation of the print. The acrylic glass protects your custom art print against light and external influences for many decades.
