The artpiece was painted by the German artist August Wilhelm Leu. The painting was made with the absolute size: 119 x 160 cm. Oil on canvas was used by the German painter as the technique for the work of art. Today, the piece of art forms part of the Belvedere's collection in Vienna, Austria. The work of art, which belongs to the public domain is being supplied with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 7979. The creditline of the artwork is: transfer from the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna in 1987. What is more, the alignment of the digital reproduction is in landscape format with a side ratio of 4 : 3, which means that the length is 33% longer than the width. August Wilhelm Leu was a painter of German nationality, whose art style was primarily Romanticism. The painter lived for a total of 78 years - born in 1819 in Münster, Westphalia and died in the year 1897.
