The 17th century artwork Portrait of Rembrandt (1606-1669) with a Gorget was made by the painter Rembrandt van Rijn in 1629. The version of the masterpiece measures the exact dimensions - height: 37,9 cm width: 28,9 cm | height: 14,9 in width: 11,4 in. Oil on panel was used by the European artist as the medium of the painting. It belongs to the digital art collection of Mauritshuis, which the Mauritshuis is home to the best artworks of Dutch painting of the seventeenth century. Rembrandt van Rijn was a male painter from the Netherlands, whose style was mainly Baroque. The European painter lived for 63 years and was born in 1606 in Leiden and passed away in the year 1669.
