This over 230 year old painting was made by the male painter Pieter Frederik de la Croix. The version of the piece of art was made with the size of height: 45 cm width: 37,5 cm | height: 17,7 in width: 14,8 in and was crafted with the medium pastel on paper. The original artwork's inscription is: signed and dated: P.F. de la Croix fecit 1781. It is included in the Mauritshuis's art collection in The Hague, South Holland, Netherlands. We are glad to state that this public domain work of art is being supplied with courtesy of Mauritshuis, The Hague. Additionally, the work of art has the following creditline: Gift of Victor Eugène Louis de Stuers, The Hague, 1887; on long-term loan to the Nederlands Scheepvaartmuseum, Amsterdam, since 1931. In addition to this, the alignment of the digital reproduction is in portrait format and has a ratio of 1 : 1.2, which means that the length is 20% shorter than the width.
