In 1580 the Italian artist Giuseppe Arcimboldo made the mannerist artpiece. The 440 years old work of art had the following size: 97,8 x 74,9 x 1,9 cm (38 1/2 x 29 1/2 x 3/4 in) framed: 100,3 x 77,6 x 3,8 cm (39 1/2 x 30 9/16 x 1 1/2 in). Oil in canvas was used by the Italian painter as the medium of the artwork. The work of art can be viewed in in the collection of Yale University Art Gallery, which belongs to Yale University and is the oldest art museum of a university in the western hemisphere. The painter Giuseppe Arcimboldo was a European artist, whose art style was mainly Mannerism. The European painter lived for a total of 66 years - born in 1527 in Milan and passed away in 1593 in Milan.
