In 1710 Alessandro Magnasco painted this painting Theodosius Repulsed from the Church by Saint Ambrose. The 310 year-old artpiece has the size: 61 1/8 × 84 1/16 in (155,3 × 213,5 cm). Oil on canvas was used by the painter as the technique for the artpiece. What is more, this piece of art is in the the art collection of Art Institute Chicago, which is one of the world’s great art museums, housing a collection that spans centuries and the globe. Alessandro Magnasco was a male painter, whose art style was mainly Baroque. The artist lived for a total of 82 years - born in 1667 in Genoa, Genova province, Liguria, Italy and deceased in 1749.
