Jacob Jordaens I, 1657 - The Carrying of the Cross - fine art print

The Calvary. In the middle Christ with the cross on his shoulders. Left Simon of Cyrene, right, Veronica, Mary and John. On either side of Christ, the two assassins, priests above horseback. The procession is accompanied by Roman soldiers. The painting is made to the Church of St. Francis Xavier (The Chalk Mountain) on the Singel in Amsterdam.
