This modern art artpiece named A Friendly Warning was made by Thomas Hicks in 1890. The artwork had the size: 62,9 × 81,9 cm (24 3/4 × 32 1/4 in) and was painted with the techinque oil on canvas. The original painting has the following text as inscrption: signed, middle left: "T.Hicks. N.A.". Today, this artpiece is included in the Art Institute Chicago's art collection, which is one of the world’s great art museums, housing a collection that spans centuries and the globe. We are pleased to mention that the public domain artpiece is supplied with courtesy of Art Institute Chicago. Moreover, the artpiece has the following creditline: A.A. McKay Fund Income. Besides, the alignment is in landscape format with a ratio of 4 : 3, meaning that the length is 33% longer than the width.
