The 120 year-old version of the work of art measures the size 69,2 × 102,6 cm (27 1/4 × 40 3/8 in) and was painted on the medium oil on canvas. The original artwork has the following inscription: signed, lower right: "Frederic Remington". Today, the artwork is in the the Art Institute Chicago's digital collection located in Chicago, Illinois, United States of America.
