The door and window of this entrance hall in an Amsterdam canal house are wide open. Daylight falls on a young woman receiving a letter. Pieter de Hooch cleverly linked the interior with the exterior. Our gaze moves past the little dog to the canal, on the opposite side of which two men converse and a woman at a window looks towards us. The gateway seen through the right window affords an even more distant view.

Materials our customers can pick
In the dropdown selection right next to the product offering you can choose a material and a size of your choice. You can choose your your favorite size and material among the following options:
- Acrylic glass print (with real glass coating on top): The acrylic glass print, which is sometimes labelled as a an art print on plexiglass, will transform your favorite original into brilliant wall décor and offers a good alternative option to aluminium or canvas art prints. Your own copy of the work of art will be manufactured thanks to modern UV print machines. This makes rich, stunning color hues. The major benefit of a plexiglass print is that contrasts as well as small painting details become more visible thanks to the subtle tonal gradation in the print.
- Aluminium dibond print: These are metal prints on aluminium dibond with a true depth effect, creating a contemporary look by having a surface , which is non-reflective. For your Print On Aluminum Dibond, we print your chosen artpiece on the surface of the aluminum material. The bright & white parts of the original artpiece shine with a silk gloss, however without glare.
- Canvas: The canvas direct print is a printed cotton canvas mounted on a wooden stretcher. A canvas has a particular impression of three-dimensionality. The advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, which means that it is easy to hang your Canvas print without any wall-mounts. Because of thatcanvas prints are suitable for any kind of wall.
- Poster (canvas material): The poster is a printed canvas with a slightly roughened finish on the surface. It is best qualified for putting the fine art print with a customized frame. Please keep in mind, that depending on the size of the poster print we add a white margin 2 - 6cm around the print to facilitate the framing with your custom frame.
