This 17th century artwork was made by the Belgian painter Pieter Claesz in 1636. The version of the masterpiece measures the size: height: 44 cm width: 61 cm | height: 17,3 in width: 24 in. Oil on panel was applied by the Belgian painter as the medium of the painting. The original artwork's inscription is the following: signed and dated: PC 1636. Today, this piece of art belongs to the Mauritshuis's art collection located in The Hague, South Holland, Netherlands. We are pleased to mention that this work of art, which belongs to the public domain is supplied - courtesy of Mauritshuis, The Hague. Creditline of the artwork: Private collection, France; Percy Levy, London, c.1959; Anthony Speelman Gallery, London, 1977; gift of Willem, Baron van Dedem to the Friends of the Mauritshuis Foundation, 2002; on loan to Willem, Baron van Dedem, and his widow, London, 2002-2016. Furthermore, alignment of the digital reproduction is landscape and has an aspect ratio of 1.4 : 1, meaning that the length is 40% longer than the width.
